Islam Group founder Jahurul Islam’s 31st death anniversary today

The 31st death anniversary of Alhaj Jahurul Islam, founder chairman of Islam Group and a prominent entrepreneur in Bangladesh’s housing and industrial sectors, will be observed today, October 19, 2026.

To mark the occasion, Eastern Housing Limited has arranged doa mahfils in his memory at Aftabnagar in Dhaka and at his village home in Bajitpur, Kishoreganj.

Jahurul Islam was a renowned entrepreneur whose vision, dedication and enterprise played an important role in the development of the country’s business, industry and housing sectors.
