Niloy-Heme’s serial ‘Prothom Premer Golpo’ in controversy

The drama serial titled ‘Prothom Premer Golpo’ starring Niloy Alamgir and Jannatul Sumaiya Heme has started airing from October 12.

After the first two episodes were aired, allegations of plagiarism were raised against the drama series.

The story, scenes, and even the characters’ costumes have been copied exactly from the Pakistani serial ‘Shaidai’.

However, director Tanvir Tanmoy is not worried about the allegations of plagiarism.

In this regard, director Tanvir Tonmoy said, “It is mentioned at the beginning of our drama series that it is inspired by foreign dramas.

Even though it is a copy story, we have tried to show that arrangement on a large scale.

After a few more episodes, the audience will understand that there is also an original story here. So, I do not take the criticism seriously.”

He further said, “Along with the criticism, many are also making positive comments.

They are praising the fact that dramas are being made in our country with such a big budget.

Seeing this, many more will have the courage to produce dramas with a big budget.

Since I did not have this courage, I initially went for copy stories. Through this, we will also show our own stories.”

Although the title card of the series ‘Prothom Premer Golpo’ introduces all the cast, the name of the screenwriter has been kept hidden.

In this regard, the director said, “We will introduce the writer of the drama when our original story begins.

Now the promotion of the inspired story is going on. So, I thought it would be better not to mention his name now.”

Another series inspired by a Pakistani serial, ‘Eta Amaderi Golpo’, gained popularity earlier this year.

When asked if that popularity drew him towards fake stories, director Tanvir Tonmoy said, “I was inspired by the Pakistani serial because that drama became popular, that’s not the case.

I had planned the series two years ago. At that time, Niloy Bhai was busy with a solo drama.

He has also become interested since several series have become popular recently. I also feel that now is a good time to make a series.”

Farin Khan, Ali Raj, Sujata, Farzana Chumki, Zahid Hossain Shovon, etc are also acting in the series ‘Prothom Premer Golpo’.

New episodes of the series are being released every Monday and Tuesday on the NAF Entertainment YouTube channel.
