Juboraj Shamim’s ‘Atal’ to screen at Regent’s Park Gallery
Juboraj Shamim’s second feature film ‘Atal’ is set to be screened at the renowned Regent’s Park Gallery in London on October 30.
The special screening will be jointly organised by the Clapham International Film Festival and Larkhall Art Club as part of an event that will bring cinema and visual art together.
During the screening, artistes will create paintings inspired by the film as they watch it. Clapham International Film Festival director Simon Ball informed Shamim about the initiative via email.
According to Ball, the organisers are interested in introducing the filmmaker’s work to a new audience. Some of the artworks created during the event will later be shared with Shamim.
The concept has also given Shamim an opportunity to see his film through a different artistic medium.
