Bank Asia holds cyber security training for employees

Bank Asia PLC organized a day-long training programme to raise cyber security awareness among its employees and enhance their skills in protecting the bank’s digital assets.

The training was arranged in observance of National Cyber security Awareness Month. Md. Sabbir Hossain, Additional Managing Director of Bank Asia PLC inaugurated the program at the Bank Asia Institute for Training and Development (BAITD) at the Lalmatia in the city on Saturday. S. M. Tofayel Ahmad, Additional Director (ICT) of Bangladesh Bank, conducted the training session.

The session covered key aspects of cyber security governance, regulatory expectations, management responsibilities, cyber security risks, threat, employee responsibilities and good security practices.Team leaders of different levels, including the heads of various departments and branches of the bank, attended the programme in person, while other employees participated online.
