What kind of person does Mimi want as life partner?

The excitement of new movie releases is in full swing in Tollywood on the occasion of upcoming Durga Puja.

To double that excitement, director Srijit Mukherjee’s new film ‘Emperor vs Sarat Chandra’ is coming to theatres this Puja.

Actress Mimi Chakraborty will be seen opposite actor Abir Chatterjee for the first time in this film.

In addition to promoting the film vigorously, the star recently spoke openly about her career and various personal issues in an interview given to Indian media outlet Anandabazar.

When asked what kind of future life partner she would like, Mimi said that her husband must be a good-hearted person.

Mimi said, “He should be a very good friend to me, a joy-loving person.

And just as I love to travel, he should also love to travel. But the most important thing is that he should love my pets very much.”

The actress, in a humorous twist about her own wedding, added that she enjoys being invited to other people’s weddings, especially when the menu has more vegetarian options.

However, she is not worried about her own wedding right now, and will see when the time comes.

Mimi is playing an important role named ‘Sumitra’ in the film ‘Emperor vs Sarat Chandra’. This is Mimi’s first work under the direction of Srijit Mukherjee.

While sharing her experience adapting to the character, she said that to portray the character of Sumitra, the director gave her a reference to the popular character ‘Pupe’ from the much-discussed TV’s mega series ‘Gaaner Oparey’.

This new equation of Abir-Mimi duo and Srijit’s direction, with Puja in the lead, has already created a lot of curiosity among movie lovers.
