Mahbubor Rahman FCMA new Chair of SBAC Bank

Mohammad Mahbubor Rahman, FCMA, has been elected as the Chairman of SBAC Bank Investment Limited (SBIL) at the 30th Meeting of the Board of Directors, held on Wednesday.

Mohammad Mahbubor Rahman FCMA is the Representative Director of SBAC Bank PLC, nominated by Intec Solution, and a distinguished professional accountant and corporate executive with more than 27 years of leadership experience across six countries- Bangladesh, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand, and Cambodia.

He has held senior positions with organizations including Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International and currently serves as CEO and Director of Finance at Intec Solution.

Mohammad Mahbubor Rahman FCMA, is a Fellow and Council Member of ICMAB and holds a Master of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Dhaka.

Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions in globally recognized organizations, demonstrating strong expertise in financial management, strategic planning, business leadership, and organizational transformation.

His extensive experience is expected to further strengthen SBIL’s strategic direction, corporate governance and capital market operations.
