Sammilito Islami Bank’s subsidiary EIIL gets new body

Mohammed Ahsan Habib Chowdhury, FCA, a member of the Board of Directors of state-owned Shariah-based Sammilito Islami Bank PLC, has been appointed Chairman of EXIM Islami Investment Limited (EIIL), a subsidiary of the bank.

Besides, Abedur RahmanSikder, Managing Director of Sammilito Islami Bank, has been appointed as a Director of EIIL.

The decisions were taken at the 78th meeting of the Board of Directors of EIIL, held on recently at the head office of Sammilito Islami Bank in Dhaka.

Mohammed Ahsan Habib Chowdhury, FCA, presided over the meeting as the newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of EIIL.

Mohammad Shibbir Hossain, FCA, Independent Director, and Md.Monjurul Alam, Chief Executive Officer, were also present at the meeting.
