Holiday Inn Dhaka presents Pahari cuisine, culture from three hill districts

Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre is hosting a food and cultural festival highlighting the cuisine and traditions of Bangladesh’s hill regions from August 19 to 31.
The event, titled ‘Tin Paharer Golpo – Pahari Food Festival 2026’, showcases culinary traditions from Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban through a specially curated buffet and cultural activities.
The buffet features several dishes including Pahari Chicken Hebaang, Bamboo Chicken Biryani, Bamboo Shoot Chicken, Mutton Hebaang, Chicken Mundi, Pahari Momos, traditional hill-style fish, seasonal hill vegetables, Binny Bhat and Binni Chaler Payesh, among others.
The buffet is priced at Tk 7,999 net per person. Guests taking the festival buffet will also receive complimentary access to the hotel’s swimming pool, the statement said.
The hotel also features Pahari-themed stalls, a hill-inspired fountain installation in the lobby, live music, and traditional Pahari dance performances. The activities are intended to showcase elements of the lifestyle, culture, and craftsmanship of the hill regions.
Pubali Bank PLC is the Exclusive Bank Partner of the festival, offering eligible cardholders a Buy 1 Get 4 (B1G4) deal, subject to applicable terms and conditions. B1G3 is also available on selected bank cards, according to the hotel’s statement.
Air Astra has joined as the Airline Partner and will hold a raffle for festival guests. Three winners will receive a couple round-trip air ticket for the Dhaka-Sylhet-Dhaka route, while Probashi Helicopter, the Flying Partner, will offer a helicopter flying experience for a couple to another winner.
