Popular US TV actress Hayden Panettiere dies at 36
Popular American actress Hayden Panettiere has died. The actress, known for her roles in popular television series such as ‘Heroes’ and ‘Nashville’, was only 36 years old. Her death was announced in a statement by her family.
The cause of Hayden’s death was not immediately known, Reuters reported on Monday.
Hayden, who was nominated for a Grammy Award and two Golden Globes, said the matter was under investigation, his publicist Casey Kitchen said.
Hayden, who began her career as a child artiste, voiced the young ant princess Dot in Pixar’s animated film ‘A Bug’s Life’ in 1998.
She also received a Grammy nomination for Best Spoken Word Album for Children for her work on the film’s read-along album.
Hayden rose to international fame in 2006 when she starred as Claire Bennett in the popular NBC series ‘Heroes’.
The role of a teenage cheerleader with superhuman powers brought her international stardom.
