PIB organises multimedia training

The inauguration of the training on multimedia, AI and fact checking for journalists of Feni district organised by PIB was held in the conference room of Executive Engineer LGED on Tuesday.

Journalist Siddique Al Mamun presided over the event. The chief guest was Professor MA Khalek, Administrator of Feni District Council. The inaugural address was given by Deputy Commissioner Monira Haque. Feni Police Super Pratyush Kumar Majumder was the special guest.

While delivering his speech, the chief guest said that Feni journalism should be made more modern and efficient in line with the rapid changes in technology.

AI has made the work of journalism easier, and misinformation and misleading content are also increasing. Therefore, it is one of the duties of a responsible journalist to ensure the authenticity of information before publishing news.

I hope that through this training, Feni journalists will acquire more skills in the correct and responsible use of technology.
