Milestone College posts 99.67pc SSC pass rate

Milestone College has achieved a 99.67 percent pass rate in the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, significantly higher than the national pass rate of 62.25 percent and the Dhaka Board rate of 71.63 percent.

Of the 1,493 students from the college who appeared in the examination in Bangla medium and English version, 1,488 passed, while 613 secured GPA-5.

The Science group produced the strongest performance, with 1,265 students appearing for the SSC examination and 1,262 passing, resulting in a 99.76 percent pass rate.

A total of 593 Science group students achieved GPA-5.

In the Business Studies group, 228 students appeared and 226 passed, recording a 99.12 percent pass rate.

The results sparked celebrations across the Milestone College campus in Diabari, Uttara, as students, teachers and guardians gathered to mark the achievement.

Students expressed delight at their results, while guardians praised the college’s academic environment and thanked the principal and teachers for their care and support.

Milestone College Principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam attributed the strong results to the combined efforts of teachers, students and parents.

He said the college’s adherence to a structured academic calendar, timely teaching methods, regular classes and academic discipline throughout the year had contributed to the achievement.

“Milestone College can achieve the expected results only because of following a specific academic calendar, timely teaching methods, regular classes and maintaining academic discipline throughout the year,” he said.

Ziaul Alam congratulated all students who passed the SSC examination and expressed gratitude to the teachers and parents for their continued support.
