2 held in N’ganj murder case

The Narayanganj District Branch of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has claimed to have uncovered the mystery behind the murder of auto-rickshaw (mishuk) driver Walliullah, 20, in the Grupdi area under Araihazar Police Station in Narayanganj.

Two accused allegedly involved in the murder have been arrested, while the stolen auto-rickshaw and mobile phone have been recovered. One of the accused has also reportedly given a confessional statement before a court.

PBI Narayanganj Superintendent of Police Md Mostafa Kamal Rashed disclosed the information at a press conference at the PBI office on Sunday afternoon.

According to the PBI, Walliullah went out with his auto-rickshaw on the afternoon of July 5 to earn money as his father was ill.
