Amin Khan has a three-decade career in movies. He made his debut in 1993 with Mohammad Hossain’s ‘Abujh Dati Mon’. After that, he acted in many popular films.

He became irregular since 2010. After 2018, he returned to the big screen last year with Sadek Siddiqui’s ‘Direct Action’. However, he shot this film in 2018-19.

Finally, he joined the new film again with ‘Gulshaner Chameli’. Regarding returning to cinema after a long time, Amin Khan said, “It feels great, I am working in a film after a long time.

I will say it was an opportunity. I took a lot of time off in between. I don’t know why, the batting and the ball didn’t match.

When director Iqbal proposed, I felt that the film could be done. Apart from that, many talented artists are working in this film. Everyone will try their best to give a beautiful film.”

‘Gulshaner Chameli’ is being made focusing on politics, abuse of power and the reality of the dark life of elite society.

The story revolves around a sex worker, who is repeatedly subjected to the cruel game of power despite not committing any crime. Tollywood actress Madhumita Sarcar will play this role. Madhumita is making her debut in Dhallywood with this movie.

Earlier, she acted in a TV drama with Mosharraf Karim in 2016, but this is the first time she will act in a Dhaka film. Madhumita arrived in Dhaka from Kolkata on Saturday to participate in the Mahurat.
