SSC and equivalent exam results on 10 Aug

The results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on August 10, 2026. Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division Md. Abdul Khalek confirmed this to reporters on Monday.

A notification issued on Monday (July 27) by the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee stated that the results of the SSC and equivalent examinations for 2026 will be published simultaneously across the country on August 10. The procedures for accessing the results will be announced later through a notification.

According to the initial announcement, the SSC results were scheduled to be released on July 20, but the date was postponed as preparations were not yet complete.

On July 18, Professor Syed Akteruzzaman, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and head of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, informed the media that the results would not be published on the 20th. However, they are prepared to release the results within the month of July.

Earlier, at a press conference held at the Secretariat on June 8, Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon announced that the results of Secondary School Certificate, SSC 2026 and equivalent examinations would be published on July 20. Instructions regarding this matter have been issued to the concerned officials.

This year’s SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21, 2026, and continued until May 20, followed by the practical examinations.

This year, there were over 1.857 million candidates across the SSC examinations under the nine general education boards, the Dakhil examination under the Madrasah Education Board, and the SSC and Dakhil (Vocational) examinations under the Technical Education Board.
