MEP Hi-Tech Industrial Park breaks ground at NSEZ

MEP Hi-Tech Industrial Park Limited yesterday formally broke ground for its new manufacturing facility at the National Special Economic Zone (NSEZ) in Mirsarai, Chattogram, marking the official start of construction of a technology-driven and environmentally friendly electrical and electronics manufacturing plant.

The project, being developed in collaboration with the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA), is expected to strengthen the country’s industrialisation efforts, promote domestic investment and expand technology-based manufacturing, said a press release. 

MEP Hi-Tech Industrial Park Limited, a concern of MEP Group, will establish the factory on around 10 acres of land at the NSEZ with an investment of about Tk 200 crore, entirely from domestic sources.
