2-day police training begins in Khulna

KHULNA: DIG AKM Mosharraf Hossain Miazi, Commandant of Police Training Centre, Khulna, speaks at a two-day training programme for police personnel ahead of the upcoming local government elections at the centre on Monday.

A two-day training programme for police personnel has begun in Khulna to enhance their preparedness for maintaining law and order and performing election-related duties during the upcoming local government elections.

AKM Mosharraf Hossain Miazi, DIG and Commandant of Police Training Centre (PTC), Khulna, inaugurated the training course for the seventh batch at the centre on Monday.

The training focuses on developing the skills required to prevent any form of disorder during the elections and maintain law and order in different situations.

Police personnel are also being instructed to discharge their duties with honesty, impartiality and the highest level of professionalism.

The participants are being trained to respond effectively to situations that may arise during the election period and to take appropriate measures while carrying out their assigned responsibilities.

PTC Khulna Commandant DIG AKM Mosharraf Hossain Miazi and Deputy Commandant Additional DIG MA Masud, along with other senior officials, are supervising and conducting the training sessions.

The two-day programme is expected to further strengthen the skills and professional capacity of police personnel in carrying out their election-related responsibilities.
