Salman urges protesting students to return home

Salman has changed his position on the student protest that has continued in New Delhi over the past week.

In a social media post on Thursday, he said the students’ education and safety should now be the highest priorities.

He urged them not to remain anxious or cause further concern to their parents and asked them to return home.

Salman said the prime minister had already addressed the issue on X and expressed hope that strict action would be taken against those responsible for the alleged question-paper leak.

The protest has been led by the CJP.
