KUET CSE dept farewell held

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) organised a farewell ceremony for the 2020 batch and a freshers’ reception for the 2025 batch on Monday at the Student Welfare Center.

KUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Mashud attended the event as the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, he encouraged graduating students to apply their knowledge and skills for the country’s development and advised the newcomers to uphold KUET’s traditions through dedication and discipline.

The programme was also attended by senior university officials, including the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the Director of Student Welfare, the Head of the CSE Department, and CSE Association President Professor Dr. Md. Aminul Haque Akand.

The event featured farewell speeches by graduating students, welcome remarks for the new batch, presentation of commemorative gifts, and cultural and interactive activities, creating a memorable occasion for both outgoing and incoming students.
