Swara Bhaskar’s hubby Fahad arrested for Cockroach Party movement

Protests are raging across the country over the question leaks and cheating in India’s NEET-UG exams.

The protests have now spread not only to Delhi, but also to Mumbai. Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar’s husband and prominent political activist Fahad Ahmed was arrested. On Monday, Mumbai Police arrested him from a peaceful protest organised under the banner of ‘Cockroach Janta Party’ in Dadar, Mumbai.

Students were protesting in Mumbai’s historic Chaityabhoomi area demanding cancellation of NEET exam. Fahad took to the field in their support.

In a video shared by Swara on social media, police can be seen forcibly dragging Fahad away. At that time, Fahad was repeatedly asking the officers, “Why are you arresting me? What is my crime?”
