



The IRGC says its missiles struck a US command center in Syria’s Al-Tanf district, killing many US soldiers in retaliation for the earlier US attacks on the barracks of Iranian army’s soldiers in southeast city of Iranshahr.
The IRGC Public Relations announced in the statement No. 19 of “Operation Nasr 2” about a surprise attack on the enemy’s special operations command center in the Al-Tanf region of Syria in retaliation for the blood of the martyred soldiers of Iranshahr.
“In response to the atrocities of the child-killing American army, the IRGC Aerospace Forces fighters in the 11th wave of Operation Nasr 2, with the code name Aba Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS) and dedicated to the oppressed martyred soldiers of Bampour in Iranshahr, carried out a surprise attack on the enemy’s special operations command center in the Tanf region of Syria.”
The statement futher read, “Not only the attack destroyed a radar system and several special operations helicopters, in retaliation for the blood of the martyred soldiers the nightness in Iranshahr, but also it killed a large number of American criminal forces,” The IRGC further declared that “Complete control of the Strait of Hormuz remains in the hands of our brave warriors, and as long as the American atrocities continue, not a single drop of oil and gas will be exported from this region.”
Meanwhile, Kuwait reported an Iranian attack on a power and water plant on Friday, while Bahrain and Qatar also said they had intercepted missiles after the US bombed Iran for the sixth consecutive night.
“One of the power and water distillation plants was the target of an attack as part of the Iranian aggression… resulting in a fire, damage, and the impairment of several production units,” the Kuwaiti electricity ministry said in a statement.
It called on users “to ration their electricity consumption during this exceptional period”.
The Gulf state earlier said it was facing “drone and missile attacks” that it blamed on Iran.
Iran said that in response to the US strikes it had sent drones to Kuwait to target “the deployment sites of US forces and the logistical support centres of the ‘terrorist’ and ‘child-killing’ US military”, state TV reported.
“The attacks were in response to the crimes of the arrogant enemy and in revenge for the blood of the martyrs of the homeland,” it added.
Elsewhere, the Bahraini military stated that it had “intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks.”
An AFP journalist in Manama, the kingdom’s capital, reported hearing several explosions overnight after warning sirens were triggered.
Iranian state media reported that Tehran had targeted US helicopters and planes at an airbase there.
In Qatar, the defence ministry said the army intercepted a missile attack, with AFP journalists in the capital Doha hearing several blasts.
A child was injured by falling debris resulting from the missile interception, the interior ministry later reported.
