One Bank holds blood donation programme

One Bank organised a voluntary blood donation programme and thalassemia awareness session in Dhaka on Monday to mark its 27th anniversary.

The event, held in collaboration with the Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, saw participation from employees across different branches of the bank.

One Bank’s Chairman ASM Shahidullah Khan and Managing Director Muhit Rahman attended the programme alongside representatives of the foundation, according to press release.

Specialists from the foundation conducted an interactive session highlighting the importance of voluntary blood donation, safe blood supplies, carrier screening, early detection, and informed decision-making to reduce the incidence of thalassemia.
