



Students staged a protest at the Town Hall intersection in Mymensingh on Tuesday, demanding resignation of Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon over the decision to hold the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations despite adverse weather conditions and widespread waterlogging.
The demonstration took place on Tuesday , with students from various educational institutions participating. During the protest, they chanted slogans demanding the resignation of the Education Minister and raised several demands regarding the HSC examinations.
The protesting students alleged that continuous heavy rainfall and severe waterlogging prevented many HSC candidates from reaching their examination centres on time.
while others were forced to sit for the examinations under extremely difficult conditions.
They argued that the authorities should have reconsidered the decision to conduct the examinations under such circumstances.Several demonstrators told journalists that the authorities had failed to take students’ hardships into consideration before proceeding with the examinations. Expressing their dissatisfaction with the decision, they demanded the resignation of the Education Minister.
