Shakib signs for new mission

Megastar Shakib Khan has signed a new film that is expected to create history. He is reuniting with the team behind his acclaimed film Borbaad.

On Thursday evening, he officially signed a new project under Real Energy Production. The title of the film has not yet been revealed. Earlier, under the same production banner, Shakib appeared in Borbaad in a completely different avatar.

Borbaad was directed by Mehedi Hassan Hridoy. The film also set a new benchmark in terms of commercial success.

Shakib Khan will once again collaborate with the same team for the upcoming project. However, this will not be a sequel to Borbaad.

After signing the contract, Shakib shared a photo on Facebook with the producer and director. In the post, he wrote, “Borbaad team is back. Let’s make history again.”

Released last year, Borbaad featured Shakib Khan as Aryan Mirza, with Idhika Paul playing the female lead opposite him. Shakib’s high-octane action sequences and striking new look in the film created a huge buzz among audiences.

Later, at an event for another film, Shakib described Borbaad director Mehedi Hassan Hridoy as one of the finest filmmakers of the current generation.

Now, he is set to reunite with the same director for this new project. The announcement has already generated excitement among Shakib’s fans, who are eagerly looking forward to another big surprise from their favorite star.

Meanwhile, Shakib had earlier announced that another of his films, Soldier, is scheduled to be released in October this year.
