Samantha ends 17yrs record of Anushka

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s latest film ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ has surpassed the lifetime worldwide box-office collection of Anushka Shetty’s ‘Arundhati’ (2009), ending a record that had stood for 17 years among women-led Telugu films.

According to The India Today, ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ grossed Rs 78.71 crore (approximately Tk111 crore) worldwide within 10 days of its theatrical release, overtaking Arundhati’s lifetime worldwide collection of around Rs 70 crore (approximately Tk99 crore).
