BAU Dean Council gets new Convener

Professor Dr. Bahanur Rahman of the Department of Microbiology has officially assumed office as the new Convener of the Dean Council at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU). He took over the responsibility from the outgoing Convener, Professor Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin.

After assuming office, Professor Dr. Rahman expressed his gratitude to Almighty Allah and said he is committed to carrying out his responsibilities with honesty, integrity, transparency, and accountability. He also sought the cooperation of all concerned in advancing the university’s education, research, innovation, good governance, and international academic excellence.

The handover ceremony was attended by the deans of various faculties, the Coordinator of the Committee for Advanced Studies and Research (CASR), and the Student Affairs Adviser. They congratulated the newly appointed Convener and extended their best wishes.

In his remarks, Professor Dr. Rahman thanked everyone present for their support and expressed optimism that, through collective efforts, Bangladesh Agricultural University would continue to make significant progress in education, research, and innovation.
