Shirin Shila awaits release of 4 movies

There are four movies starring Shirin Shila awaiting release. The movies are: Mehedi Hasan’s ‘Nodir Jole Shapla Bhashe’, Abul Hossain Majumder’s ‘Bhalobashi Tomay’, Kamruzzaman’s ‘Jajabor’, and S D Rubel’s ‘Neel Akashe Pakhi Ure’.

Meanwhile, Shirin Shila said that all the films have been completed; only some parts of Kamruzzaman’s film ‘Jajabor’ are still to be worked on.

Regarding talking about these films, Shirin Shila told this correspondent, “The stories of the four films awaiting release are all beautiful.

Especially the stories of films ‘Nodir Jole Shapla Bhase’ and ‘Bhalobashi Tomay’ are the stories those are very close to my heart.

The stories of the other two movies are also beautiful. Both Majumder Bhai and Kamruzzaman Bhai have made their films with great care. I am quite optimistic about my characters in these movies.

‘Nodir Jole Shapla Bhashe’ and ‘Neel Akashe Pakhi Ure’ are movies with different stories. I believe that the audience will like these movies when these are released.

Actually, movies aren’t made like they used to be these days. Even so, I’m still looking forward to acting in movies with better stories. I have already received offers to act in several movies.

But overall, the bat and ball didn’t match, so I didn’t get to act in those movies anymore. Still, I’m really looking forward to a good story.

It’s very true that every heroine dreams of working in a good role in a good story. I am also immersed in that dream.

I don’t know if I’ll ever get a character I like because we all know the current state of the film industry.

It is very necessary to turn around from this situation. We want to regain the lost heritage of our film industry.”

Notable movies starring Shirin Shila are: ‘Hitman’, ‘Miya Bibi Raji’, ‘Begum Jaan’, ‘Khoniker Bhalobasa’, ‘Shesh Baji’, ‘Direct Attack’, etc.

It is worth mentioning that Shirin Shila is contesting for the post of executive member in the elections of the Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association to be held on July 3. This is Shila’s first election from the Film Artistes’ Association.
