The initiative was carried out under the direction of Additional DIG MM Salahuddin, Commanding Officer of 3rd APBn.

The recovery operations were supervised by Deputy Commanding Officer and Superintendent of Police G. M. Abul Kalam Azad, PPM, and Additional Superintendent of Police Md Ali Nawaz.

Additional DIG M. M. Salahuddin formally handed over the recovered mobile phones and funds to their rightful owners.

Officials also said the unit assisted in tracing and recovering a victim based on a general diary (GD) filed with the police on Monday (June 29).

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Salahuddin said greater public cooperation would enable the police to provide legal assistance to more victims.

“Our efforts to recover lost mobile phones and prevent online fraud will continue,” he said.

Beneficiaries who received their phones and recovered money expressed satisfaction with the initiative and thanked the police for their support.
