New ‘Didi’ Swastika, what Rachana says

The rumour has been going around for some time. Rachana Banerjee has been the ‘Didi’ of West Bengal’s TV screen for the last one and a half decades. Her ‘Didi No 1’ is also quite popular in Bangladesh.

However, recently, the collapse of the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal has put the party’s close friends in trouble. Rachana could not avoid the shock either.

Rachana has been dropped from ‘Didi No 1’. Swastika Mukherjee has been given the responsibility of hosting the show again.

The promo has already arrived. It was seen that not only the host, but there are many other changes in the new season.

There is also a big change in format of the show. Where until now there were four contestants playing, this time 10 contestants will participate together. The style of the game is also changing.

This doesn’t end there, the broadcast time is also changing. Although it was broadcast in popular afternoon slot until now, from new season the show will be seen at 10:15pm local time in West Bengal. The first episode will be broadcast on June 29.

Meanwhile, regarding her exclusion from the show, the old ‘Didi’ Rachna said, “I have work pressure, that is one reason. Secondly, it was the channel’s decision. They wanted to redesign the show. And I can’t say anything about the channel’s decision.”
