‘Action to be taken to control crime’

Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed on Sunday said the government has adopted a targeted action plan to curb crime in the capital, including Mohammadpur, and that criminals will be brought under control through its phased implementation.

He made the remarks while responding to journalists’ questions at an award ceremony at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Secretariat, where several police personnel were honored for their outstanding contributions to maintaining law and order.
