IFIC Bank, Butterfly sign MoU on EMI facility

IFIC Bank PLC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Butterfly Marketing Limited, one of the country’s leading electronics and home appliance marketing companies, to further expand EMI facilities for the bank’s customers.

The MoU was signed on Wednesday, at IFIC Tower in the city, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations, according to a media release.

Under this agreement, IFIC Bank credit cardholders will be able to purchase products from Butterfly Marketing Limited and enjoy a 0pc interest EMI facility for a tenure of up to 24 months.

At the event, IFIC Bank’s Deputy Managing Director (DMD) and Chief Credit Officer, Md. Rafiqul Islam; Chief of Branch Business and Head of Operations, Helal Ahmed; and Head of Cards and Digital Banking, Md. Zakir Hossain were present.

Representing Butterfly Marketing Limited were the company’s Head of Treasury, Md. Shah Nawaz, and Officer – Finance & Accounts, Md. Mostafizur Rahman. In addition, other senior officials from both organizations were also in attendance.
