Rise in aggressive behaviour

There has been a noticeable rise in aggressive behaviour, lack of patience and unwillingness to accept differing opinions. People are becoming impatient and more prone to anger nowadays.

The ability to acknowledge others’ opinions and points of view is clearly vanishing. Because of this, there has been an increase in arguments and disagreements, both in private and public life. Hostility is increasing and the element of respect is diminishing. Even minor disagreements often escalate into serious conflicts.

The root causes of this issue include lack of proper education, the influence of sensational media and the absence of patience.

It is essential for families, educational institutions and media platforms to promote tolerance, empathy and respectful communication. At junior levels, schools and colleges should provide adequate counselling sessions for students to develop tolerance and learn the importance of respecting others.

We hope the concerned authorities and citizens will recognise the importance of tolerance and work collectively to restore harmony in our society.
