Nationwide vitamin A prog to begin soon

The government is preparing to launch the Vitamin ‘A’ Plus Campaign across the country as part of its ongoing public health efforts, Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain said on Tuesday.

The minister made the announcement while speaking to reporters following a discussion on ‘Measles Treatment Methods and Clinical Management Guidelines’ held at the Holy Family Medical College in the capital.

Sakhawat Husain said the Vitamin ‘A’ Plus Campaign would be implemented simultaneously nationwide and that preparations are currently underway to ensure its successful execution.

“We are working to make the campaign successful. Further details, including the launch date, will be announced within the next three to four days,” he said.
