Dhaka WASA inaugurates deep tube well in Korail

A newly installed deep tube well by Dhaka WASA in the area adjacent to Ershad Field at Korail Jamai Bazar was formally inaugurated on Sunday, enhancing water supply capacity in the locality.

Prime Minister’s Private Secretary Abdur Rahman Sani attended the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest, while the event was presided over by Dhaka WASA Managing Director Md Aminul Islam.

Among those present were Abdul Majid, Project Director and Superintending Engineer of the Emergency Water Supply Project and Water Supply & Distribution Circle; Md Firoz Alam, Superintending Engineer of MODS Circle-1; Shah Alam, Superintending Engineer of MODS Circle-2; along with other officials.

According to Dhaka WASA, the newly commissioned deep tube well has the capacity to extract 2,400 litres of water per minute, which is expected to strengthen water supply services in the area.
