There has never been love from that place: Apu
Apu Biswas is a Dhallywood queen. She has made a place in the hearts of the audience with her acting skills, but this heroine of the silver screen had a completely different personality in her childhood. Recently, she appeared on a podcast and talked about a lot of memories of her childhood and school life.
Apu Biswas said, “When I was young, I used to think of myself as a boy. My name was Apu. My uncle or father, his circle of friends, many of my family who didn’t know me or hadn’t seen me, thought I might be a boy. They used to call my father ‘Your Younger Son’. My father also used to make fun of this. From that point on, I can say that I was very right-wing, I was never sweet-natured.”
Mentioning that she was called to various school events, Apu said, “In school, any good programme among the sirs meant ‘Call Apu, we have to plan’. Since I got a scholarship in class five, I was also quite good as a student.”
Talking about love proposals during her school days, the heroine said that no one had the courage to propose to her directly. All the love letters came through her friends.
Apu Biswas says, “Many people proposed at school. They would tell me through my friends. They didn’t have the courage to tell me directly.
They would tell their friends, ‘I like Apu a lot, how can I tell you’. They would write letters and letters. Then their friends would say, ‘Oh, my father! Will we ruin our friendship by receiving the letter? He gets very angry.’”
When asked if she had a crush on anyone during her school days, Apu said, “I never had a crush on anyone from that place. I would have heard or known that many people liked her later.”
