SSC, Equivalent results on July 20

The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be announced on July 20, Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon said on Monday.

The minister disclosed the date while addressing a press conference at the Secretariat on the government’s three-month programme.

This year, a total of 1,857,344 students appeared in the SSC and equivalent examinations, which commenced on April 21. Among the candidates, 930,305 were male and 927,039 were female. The examinees came from 30,666 educational institutions across the country.

Under the nine general education boards, 1,418,318 candidates sat for the SSC examinations. The Madrasah Education Board recorded 303,286 candidates in the Dakhil examinations.

Meanwhile, 134,660 students participated in the SSC (Vocational) examinations conducted under the Technical Education Board.

The results of all SSC and equivalent examinations are scheduled to be published simultaneously on July 20.
