Manasi narrowly escapes devastating floods before reaching Nepal border
Indian actress Manasi Parekh was returning home after completing the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage.
At that time, the actress narrowly escaped a terrible flash flood on the Nepal-Tibet border. After the disaster, she is currently safely in China.
Shortly before Manasi, who was travelling to Tibet with spiritual guru Sadhguru’s ‘Isha Foundation’, reached the border port through which she wanted
to return, the area was completely submerged in a terrible flood.
Sharing a video of the flooded Jiroong Port on social media, Manasi Parekh said that if they had arrived just a few hours earlier, their team would have also faced this disaster.
Reminiscing, she wrote, “Just five days ago, I was given a warm welcome at this immigration point. The entire area was under water.
Life was really uncertain. But by the grace of God, we were safe on the Chinese border.
Isha Foundation was trying its best to bring us back safely and rescue those stranded in the flood.”
