Karisma Kapoor returns to OTT with ‘Brown’

Karisma Kapoor plays the lead role in the crime thriller series Brown, which will be released on the OTT platform ZEE5.

She said she agreed to take on the project and endured the challenges of a long shooting schedule in Kolkata because she was drawn to the character of Rita Brown-a flawed, non-glamorous woman.

According to Karisma, great attention was given to portraying the character realistically on screen.

Details such as appearing without makeup, adopting a distinctive walking style, and showing purple lips caused by excessive smoking were all carefully incorporated to bring Rita Brown to life.
