Gal Gadot in new suspense-thriller film

‘Wonder Woman’ star Gal Gadot is set to star in the new suspense-thriller ‘The Runner’.

However, the 41-year-old Israeli star sprained both her legs while shooting it, forcing her to finish the film on crutches.

In it, she plays the role of a powerful London lawyer. One morning, after going out for a jog, she receives news that her son has been kidnapped.

She then follows the instructions of a mysterious man and runs to rescue her son. Gal Gadot says, “I’ve never worked on a movie where I had to run almost every day.”

She learned running techniques from an Olympic trainer for the character. The actress had to take a break for a few days to cope with the stress of shooting.

‘The Runner’, directed by Kevin MacDonald, will be released today on Amazon MGM Studios.
