BFF announces preliminary squad for Maldives 4-nation tourney
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) announced on Sunday the 32-member Bangladesh preliminary squad for the Diamond Jubilee International Football Tournament scheduled which is scheduled to be held at the Maldives.
The Diamond Jubilee International Football Tournament will be held in the Male, the capital city of Maldives from June 1 to 10.
Ronan Sullivan and Declan Sullivan were not included in the squad. There are no other expatriate footballers in the squad. All the players are aged Under-23.
The footballers playing for the Bangladesh team include Mehedi Hasan, Al-Amin, Mujibur Rahman Jony, and Piash Ahmed Nova. Practice will be continued at the Fortis Club ground under Coach Maruful Haque.
The four-nation football tournament will start at the Maldives National Stadium on June 1.
The Football Association of Maldives will arrange this tournament to mark its 75th anniversary. Hosts Maldives, Afghanistan and Pakistan and Bangladesh will take part in the competition.
The 32-member preliminary squad of Bangladesh: Mehedi Hasan, Shakib Al Hasan, Ishfaq Akand, Md Asif, Sharif Uddin Nirob, Jahid Hasan Shanto, Alfaj Miah, Mithun Chowdhury, Rasel Hossain, Rimon Hossain, Ratul Hasan, Yousuf Ali, Ismail Hossain, Manik Hossain Molla, Safiul Hossain, Nazmul Huda Faysal, Iftiar Hossain, Chandon Roy, Mujibur Rahman Jony, Jewel Mia, Nazim Uddin, Rabby Hossen Rahul, Sajed Hasan Jummon, Murshed Ali, Sourav Dewan, Asadul Molla, Yaasin Arafat, Piash Ahmed Nova, Al Amin Islam, Mohammad Manik, Moinul Islam Moin and Pronoy Enosent.
