Rotary Club funds child’s eye surgery

Rotary Club of Motijheel has extended financial support for the successful eye surgery of six-year-old Md Nur Hossain from Birampur in Dinajpur, setting an example of humanitarian service.

The operation, conducted on May 11 at Islamia Eye Hospital in Farmgate, involved the removal of a tumour from the child’s right eye. The surgery was completed successfully under the supervision of specialist doctors.

Nur Hossain’s family expressed satisfaction and gratitude following the successful operation.
Speaking on the occasion, Rotary Club of Motijheel President Md Enamul Haque said supporting underprivileged and disadvantaged people remained one of the club’s key objectives.

He added that the organisation would continue such humanitarian activities in the future.
Local residents and the child’s family also thanked the club for its noble initiative.
