Three new prosecutors appointed to ICT

The government has appointed three new prosecutors to the International Crimes Tribunal with immediate effect, according to a gazette notification issued on Tuesday.

The newly appointed prosecutors are Md Magfur Rahman Sheikh, Dr Mohammad Oli Miah and Barrister Rafiul Islam.

Among them, Magfur Rahman Sheikh has been given the status of deputy attorney general, while Dr Oli Miah and Barrister Rafiul Islam were appointed with the status of assistant attorney general.
The notification was issued by the Solicitor Wing of the Law and Justice Division.
