



Professor Saifuddin Ahmad has stepped down from his position as Proctor of Dhaka University.
He said that he has already submitted his resignation letter to the Vice-Chancellor.
He noted that the university is currently in a stable condition and significant progress has been made during his 20-month tenure in office, reports UNB.
Prof Saifuddin also expressed his desire to return fully to academic activities and spend more time with students.
“I have missed my students a lot. I want to go back to them and resume regular teaching,” he said.
