Runa to enthral Australian audience

Renowned singer of the subcontinent Runa Laila and musician and composer Emon Chowdhury and his group ‘Bengal Symphony’ are going to perform in Australia.

Two concerts will be held in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia on August 1 and 8.

Runa Laila and members of Bengal Symphony have given a video message to the audience to participate in
this concert in Melbourne, said a press release.

Listen For has organised a concert titled ‘Bangladesh Night’ at Sydney’s Norwest Convention Centre on August 1. Pintu Ghosh will perform more songs with Runa Laila and the Bengal Symphony.

On the other hand, an event titled ‘Runa Laila and Symphony Legacy Tour’ will be held at the Recital Centre on August 8.

It is organised by Australia Bangladesh Cultural Exchange Inc (ABCX). Advance ticket sales for the two concerts have already started on the online platform.

The organisers have informed that this is not just an ordinary concert; it is going to be a musical experience to remember for a lifetime.

Legendary artistes like Runa Laila and the Bengal Symphony will sing their popular songs.

This event is going to be a unique opportunity for fans to immerse themselves in nostalgia.

Runa Laila is going to perform in Australia after almost a decade thanks to these two concerts.

Runa said that she will leave for Sydney on July 29 with seven instrumentalists.

She said, “I am going to Australia after many years. This time, both concerts are being held on a very large scale. I will sing songs that the audience likes.

I am optimistic that something good will happen. The organisers have told me that there is already a good response in ticket sales.”
