Four members of a family murdered in Naogaon

A couple and their two children were found murdered in Niamatpur upazila of Naogaon district.
The victims were identified as Habibur Rahman (32) of Bahadurpur village, his wife Popy Sultana (25), their son Parvez (9), and their three-year-old daughter Sadia Akter.

According to police, the couple was found with their throats slit, while the children had head injuries. Officer-in-Charge of Niamatpur Police Station Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the incident, saying it is believed to have taken place around midnight. The motive behind the killings has not yet been determined.

Local residents said the crime came to light after Fajr prayers when neighbours noticed the house door open. Upon entering, they discovered the bodies and immediately informed the police. Law enforcement later reached the scene and began investigation.
