How much did Keya Payel get paid for her 1st drama?

Popular TV actress Keya Payel has made her place in the list of top actresses in a very short span of her career in the showbiz industry due to her talent and hard work.

Recently, in a podcast, the actress spoke openly about the beginning of her career and her current busy schedule.

While reminiscing about her first salary in her career, Keya Payel said that her first drama was worth only Tk10,000.

Keya entered the acting world in 2018 through the drama titled ‘Ektai Aamar Tumi’. In that drama, actor Afran Nisho acted opposite her.

Recalling that experience six years ago, Payel said, “My salary for my first drama was Tk10,000. Today, after six years, I am getting the same results. But I always believe in one thing: if I work well and focus on my work, money will follow me.”

According to the actress, “If you work for the sake of money, you are afraid of losing yourself as an artiste.”

Keya Payal also said, “If I had only chased after money, I would have been lost at some point and this money would have destroyed me. I might not have found any happiness in it.”

Payel believes that 100 per cent honesty and dedication towards her work has brought her to where she is today.

“It is true that it is not possible to give time to yourself due to the pressure of work every day, but now, along with work, I am trying to find time for personal peace and family,” she added.

This actress is also focusing on a small personal business now. However, acting is her main identity above all else, according to Keya Payel.
