The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has raised gold prices again in the local market, increasing the rate by Tk 3,266 per bhori on Wednesday, the first day of April.

According to a statement issued in the morning, the price of 22-carat gold now stands at Tk 247,977 per bhori (11.664 grams). BAJUS said the latest hike follows an increase in the price of pure (tejabi) gold in the local market, prompting an adjustment in overall rates.
