Addin Hospital ambulance burnt down in Khulna blaze

A fire broke out in an ambulance of Addin Hospital at Shibbari More, Khulna today (Tuesday) at around 1 pm and the vehicle was completely burnt down.

There was no patient in the ambulance at the time of the incident, only the driver Molla Sohag was present. He said that he first smelled an unusual smell from inside the vehicle and after a while the car stopped starting. Later, he looked back and saw that the fire had spread rapidly.

He immediately jumped out of the vehicle and saved his life.
On receiving the information, a unit of the fire service reached the spot and brought the fire under control.

Meanwhile, Ad-Din Hospital Manager Md. Hossain said that the fire caused a loss of about 1 million taka. The cause of the incident was not immediately known.
