Naim gets injury in ongoing coaching camp
Bangladesh Cricket squad have been taking part in their coaching camp at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur.
The training camp has got underway marking the white-ball series against New Zealand Cricket team.
Dashing and in-form opener Naim Shaikh got injury during the conditioning camp.
Chief Selector of the BCB Habibul Bashar has known that matter. Now Naim Sheikh is a good shape. So, Naim Sheikh will join the training camp soon.
The conditioning camp has been conducted by Head Coach of the BCB Phil Simmons, Senior Assistant Coach of BCB Mohammad Salahuddin, Batting Coach Mohammad Ashraful, Fielding Coach James Pamment and Spin Bowling Coach Sohel Islam.
In the first step, they judge the fitness level of the cricketers.
The New Zealand Cricket squad are scheduled to land the capital on April 13.
Bangladesh and New Zealand will play three-match One Day International (ODI) series and three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series.
Bangladesh Cricket team will take on New Zealand Cricket team in the first ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur on April 17.
The Tigers will face off the Kiwis in the second ODI at the same venue on April 20.
After playing the two ODI matches, Bangladesh Cricket team and New Zealand Cricket team will travel Chattogram, the port city of the country.
Bangladesh Cricket team will meet New Zealand Cricket team in the third ODI at the Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram on April 20.
The Tigers will take on the Black Caps in the first T20I at the same venue on April 27.
Bangladesh Cricket team will face New Zealand Cricket team in the second T20I at the same venue on April 29.
After that the two teams will reach Dhaka to play the last T20I.
Bangladesh Cricket team will meet New Zealand Cricket team in the third and last T20I at ‘Home of Cricket’ on May 2.
