I’ve always dreamed of becoming an actress: Tushi

The film ‘Pressure Cooker’, starring Nazifa Tushi, was released this Eid. This female-centric film had been actively promoted by her even before Eid.

Since the day of Eid, she has been visiting different cinema halls.

When asked about the audience response, Tushi said, “In one word, it’s amazing. This Eid is being spent with the audience in theaters.

From the very first day, I have been watching ‘Pressure Cooker’ with them.

While watching the film, I can feel the audience’s pulse. It seems like they are deeply connecting with my character.

Especially female viewers are getting emotional after watching the film-they hug me and praise my performance. Their appreciation makes me emotional as well.”

Talking about her experience working with director Raihan Rafi, Tushi said, “This is not my first film with Raihan Rafi, but yes, it is the first one to be released.

I have also worked in another film titled ‘Andhar’ under his direction. My character there is also wonderful.

As a filmmaker, Rafi is simply outstanding. He has an incredible ability to work with all kinds of stories. He has his own distinct audience in the country.

That’s why he had the courage to take on such a story. The audience is not disappointing him-they are coming to the theaters and appreciating the film.”

When asked how much of her expectations were fulfilled, the actress said, “Look, I have always wanted to become an actress. I don’t know if I have truly become one yet, but I am trying.

In ‘Pressure Cooker’, I tried to prove myself as an actress. When I see audiences in theaters talking about my character and appreciating it, I feel that maybe my wish has been fulfilled.”
