There should be a limit to trolling: Srabanti

Bengali actress Srabanti Chatterjee has spoken out against trolling, hateful comments and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to create objectionable videos about celebrities on social media.

The actress has emphasised the need for government intervention and strict legislation to prevent such defamation.

Srabanti said, “Freedom of speech does not mean saying whatever you want. It is not desirable to express people’s inner frustration in this way.

There should be a limit to trolling on social media. I have ignored many, but now, from common people to celebrities, no one is being spared. Even women are disrespecting other women.”
